7. All those extra-curricular activities
Basketball, orchestra, piano, speech and drama, choir, life-saving, tennis, gymnastics. The list just goes on and on. And while at the time we were furious when we weren't allowed to give up on any of these things, we now know they all she wanted to do was introduce us to as many hobbies as possible to open our minds and see what makes us tick.
