Seven Great Reasons To Go To Bulmers Live At Leopardstown

A summer of great Irish music

Her

Our list of go-to festivals this summer is getting longer and longer by the minute, but the one capturing our attention at the moment is Bulmers Live at Leopardstown.

The official line-up was announced last week with the likes of Delorentos, Damien Dempsey, Hermitage Green, The Stunning and more great acts hitting the stage throughout the summer.

Running throughout the summer, the festival kicks off on June 11th with an evening of racing followed by a gig by the one and only Paddy Casey.

Nominated in the Best Medium Festival category at the Irish Festival Awards 2014, it certainly lives up to its reputation as one of the best summer festivals in Ireland.

To get you in the mood for Leopardstown, take a listen to the below playlist of some of the awesome arts playing at Bulmers Lives this summer. Enjoy!

1. Paddy Casey – Saints and Sinners

Paddy’s most well-known hit still sounds as good as it did when it was realised back in 2003.

2. The Stunning – Brewing Up A Storm

An Irish anthem of sorts, this a fantastic tune to see played live.

3. The Human League – Don’t You Want Me

An 80’s classic that just gets better with age. Don’t, don’t you want me…

4. Damien Dempsey – Patience

A gorgeous tune from the man from Donaghmede.

5. Delorentos – Petardu

One of our favourite songs from 2013, Petardu featured on the soundtrack for About Time starring Domhnall Gleeson.

6. The Hot Sprockets – Devil’s Gonna Take Me

This Dublin band are set for great things. Check out their performance for Sunday Sessions at the end of last year.

7. Hermitage Green – Jenny

We’re big fans of the Limerick band here at Her HQ. Listen to their latest release below.
