Pose for me Barack, pose for me…
POTUS has been named as the man we’d most like to take a picture of, closely followed by Mick Jagger and George Clooney.
The somewhat surprising stat is one of many to come from a survey, carried out by Canon Ireland, which proves we’re quite the snap happy nation.
Over 1 in 4 of us take pictures every day, (27 per cent), while 43 per cent of us keep a printed photo of a loved one in our wallets.

Look at that smile...
We’re also very particular when it comes to our snaps, with 32 per cent of us admitting to taking the same picture three times to get it just right. One in five people said they still preferred printer pictures to those uploaded to digital media, and a third of us dread being tagged in photos on Facebook after a night out.
While Barack topped the list for male figures, it was Oscar-winner Meryl Streep who claimed the women’s top spot, followed by Kate Middleton and Sandra Bullock.
Closer to home Brian O’Driscoll beat Bono to the title of Irish man we would like to photograph while Mary McAleese is the Irish woman we would most like to take a picture of.
