This tasty cold drink is very popular in the Mexican state of Jalisco. It can be served with a scoop of shaved ice and lime. Tejuino is made from the same dough that’s actually used to make tortillas and tamales. 

3. Horchata (The Mexican Milkshake)

 

If you’re into tradition, then this is the perfect beverage. A Mexican horchata drink is made of rice, sugar and always infused with cinnamon. The rice are ground and mixed with water to make a milky looking drink. It’s definitely one to tickle your tastebuds!

4. Sangrita de Toro

If you the exotic flavour of spice then this drink is for you. This gorgeous looking blood red drink is a spicier take on the traditional Bloody Mary swapping out vodka for tequila.

5. An ice cold Corona

Mexico is the perfect place to crack open an ice cold bottle of Corona on a sweltering hot day. Add a slice of lime or lemon and you have the perfect treat to help you cool down and feel totally refreshed. Delicious.
