For those who’re looking to spice up their lives with a bit of extra lettuce and love, this salad-based dating service is for you.
Salad Match is a food-based dating website (and now app), that invites salad-loving users to meet up at Just Salad bars.
So what do you have to do? Well, basically you share your Facebook profile picture, select your favourite salads and you’re then offered a match.
Similar to the dating app Tinder, on Salad Match when you get presented with a potential match, you get to choose "Yes" or "No". You can also use the swipe function.

The app itself is free to download.
"Meet at Just Salad for lunch or dinner, schmooze over a frozen yogurt, and get lost in each other's eyes while enjoying a freshly chopped salad..." they say on their Facebook page.
The website for the dating service was actually launched by Just Salad back in 2010, but it’s only recently that the app has made its way onto mobile devices.
At the moment the service is restricted to New York and Hong Kong so you won’t be able to share your salad love here in Ireland just yet.
But don’t worry, lettuce entertain you instead! You can check out the app here.
