Russell Brand has died. But he hasn’t really.
Well, we hope he hasn’t as he himself tweeted the article reporting his fatal snowboarding accident in Switzerland.
Brand became the latest celebrity death hoax victim as he retweeted an article which claimed he died in a snowboarding accident in Switzerland at the weekend.
The article said the “actor and novice snowboarder was holidaying at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland when the fatal accident occurred.
“Witnesses indicate that Russell Brand lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed,” the article read.
The article even described the rescue efforts after the accident; “Russell Brand was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital, however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash.
“The actor was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played any part in his death.”
Brand retweeted the article today writing, “Bloody hell. I better cancel the milk”.
Actor Eddie Murphy has already “died” twice in the same place first in February and again in July.
