Okay that’s it, we’re watching Home Alone.
A giant Rockefeller-style Christmas tree has landed in Dublin today and we have been transported to our favourite scene in Home Alone 2 where he’s reunited with his mammy.
The tree will reside here over the festive season as part of Dublin’s newest Christmas village – I BELIEVE.

The winter wonderland village is located at Custom House Quay in the Docklands and kicks off next Thursday, November 26th. The 50-foot-tall tree was donated by Coillte to the people of Ireland and is inspired by the 82-year tradition behind the charity-driven Rockefeller tree in New York.

The tree is the focal point of the Christmas village, which also boasts local crafts, gifts and of course plenty of festive food and drink.
The iconic Clerys Santa will also be relocating to the I BELIEVE Christmas Village, along with his workshop and elves, for ahem, the children.
