Results, Real Drama and Rod Stewart: The Best of Tonight’s TV

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… well the television screen is anyway!

One of our favourite Christmas flicks is on today but that’s not all we’ll be tuning in to as X Factor finally comes to an end and Love/Hate continues to grip us…

Elf – Channel 4 (5.20pm)

There is nothing better than a festive flick on a Sunday afternoon especially when that festive flick stars Will Ferrell as an elf who discovers that he is actually just a normal human. On discovering this he decides to search for his family in New York.

Strictly Come Dancing – BBC One (7.00pm)

Will Nicky Byrne live to dance another day? Or will Denise Van Outen be the celebrity to leave the competition this week? As usual, you’ll have to tune in to find out!

X Factor Results – TV3 (7.40pm)

It’s the second part of the final weekend and the last chance for the two finalists to impress the public. As well as their performances One Direction, Only Boys Aloud and Emeli Sandé will also be taking to the stage.

Love/Hate – RTÉ One (9.30pm)

On this week’s episode of the compelling crime drama Donna Reports Siobhan’s rape, the authorities are closing in on the gang and Dano learns the truth despite Nidge’s best attempts.

Rod Stewart’s Christmas – UTV (9.40pm)

The music legend will be singing some of his favourite Christmas songs tonight with the help of Michael Bublé and Kylie Minogue. He will also be reflecting on what the festive season means to him and his family.
