One boy in the U.S. is going viral for asking his mother for extra food in his lunch when going to school.
Josette Duran, the boy’s mother, figured it was just because her son was growing that his appetite had increased.
However when her son Dylan revealed why exactly he had been asking for an extra lunch every day, Josette got a serious surprise.
Posting the conversation she had with her son on Facebook, Josette described her shock when she found out Dylan had in fact been bringing an extra lunch for a boy in his class who didn’t have enough to eat every day.
“Dylan: Mama can you make me TWO lunches today?
Me: Are you not getting full boo?
Dyl: Yes Mom its for this boy. He only eats a fruit cup for lunch can you make him lunch too? I don’t think he has lunch money.”
Following the major attention her Facebook posts got, Josette was interviewed by news station KCCI about her wonderful son, which inspired both sons and mothers everywhere to be better.
What a great kid!
