If you have the flexibility to head away at short notice, you can take advantage of some absolute bargains and this time of year is perfect for grabbing an affordable break.

Falcon is always a good spot to check for last-minute offers and currently has a seven-night trip to Gran Canaria leaving Dublin on February 7th for just €299 per person. This includes return flights and self-catering accommodation at Suns Gardens (3 Falcons) in Maspalomas. If you fancy a trip to Lanzarote, the operator has a seven night trip to the Los Zocos Resort, Costa Teguise for €389pp, self catering.
