We all know one guy who claims he’s bi-winning… but winning at life isn’t about being rich or having everything, although we probably wouldn’t complain. Winning at life is about meeting your own goals and living whichever way makes you happy.

We’re well past the starting mark at this stage, but let’s start sprinting and guarantee ourselves a medal by winning life.

1. Love

Being able to love is a skill in itself. Family and friends are the people you should hold close to your heart. Love is not only an emotion, it’s a way of life. Those who wish to be loved, need to not only love others, but love themselves too.

2. Don’t Sweat It

Don’t worry about the small things, life is too short to worry about absolutely everything. Quit the stressful things in your life. You won’t be able to get rid of all of them but there are a few things that you think you have to do, but you really don’t.

3. Reach Out

Don’t forget you’re not the only person in the world with problems. Listen to others.

4. Reclaim Your Story

Write your life the way you want to read it. Otherwise, someone else might pick up the pen and write it for you and you might not like the story. Start doing the things you want to do.

5. Take Ownership

Ultimately, your life belongs to you and only you. People might not agree with your morals and beliefs, but they are yours.

6. Don’t Wait

Take action. Circumstances will always change but you really have no control over them. Change what is in your power.

7. You Will Mess Up

Accept that you will upset people along the way. However, you do always have the choice to mend relationships by letting go of your ego.

8. One Step At A Time

You might have an idea of the person you want to be, but just focus on establishing one habut at a time. Don’t try and change too much at any one time, you’ll just be overwhelmed.

9. Check Up And Check In

Give yourself a check up every once in a while. Stop and think if you’re being the person you want to be. You need to pay attention to how things are going and what elements of your life you might need to focus more on.

Yes, enjoy, it is meant to be fun after all. Don’t get trapped under a pile of unrealistic goals and worries, relax and have fun.
