Primark Opens Its Second US Store And Announces Plans For Six More

Big news for American shoppers this week.  There was good news for shopping fans this week as Penneys (operating as Primark in the US) announced that they will open six more stores in the States in the coming months. The news came with the opening of their second US store in Philadelphia this week, and not long after opening an absolute wonder store in the Spanish capital of Madrid. Inside the Madrid store. The new Philadelphia store was opened this week by Irish Ambassador to the US, Dr. Anne Anderson and boasts 93 fitting rooms, 58 cash registers and eight customer service registers. The store will create 490 jobs in the area and is just another step in Primark's plans to open more outlets in the coming years.
