Planning Your J1 Next Year? These Cheap Transatlantic Flights Are About To Make Your Day

There’s two things you really plan in college – your weekend mayhem and your J1 adventure. From sorting the clothes, arranging accommodation to working out if you’re in a relationship or suitably single, it’s a rite of passage for a swarm of Irish students. Now if you’re planning on heading out to the sunny west coast for a J1 in 2016, we’ve got the news to have your summer (and financials) covered. Low-cost airline WOW Air has added flights from Dublin to the US West Coast, with routes confirmed for Los Angeles and San Francisco this summer. The service will include four Dublin – Los Angeles flights, and five Dublin to Los Angeles flights, with a two hour stop-off in Iceland en route. The news follows their announcement that they were to start servicing cheap routes from Dublin to Boston and Washington from last month, with tickets starting from €149. Tickets to San Francisco and Los Angeles will go on sale in January 2016. Feel free to have some extra-curricular fun for us.
