Long haul flights can often be a nightmare, particularly if you're wedged in to the middle seat, but with a little bit more research before you book your flight, travelling may just become that bit easier. That's all thanks to AirlineRatings.com who have this week revealed the airlines that do the best economy class worldwide. The site based the results on leg room, availability of complimentary food and beverages, in-flight entertainment, ability to recline your seat, and whether or not blankets and pillows were made available to customers. Airlines that got the nod for being the best for long haul flights included Air New Zealand, Etihad, Singapore Airlines, Qantas and Thai Airways. Meanwhile, also making the top ten were Cathay Pacific (based in Hong Kong), Taiwan’s EVA Air, Japan Air, Korean Air and Qatar Airways.
