It’s quite a common occurrence for couples to tie the knot on the beach but Jason and Carla decided to go the opposite way and got married at the top of a ski slope yesterday in Söll, Austria.
The bride and groom, from Rathcoole in County Dublin and Garretstown in County Meath, love snowboarding so much that they incorporated it into their special day.
As if having the ceremony (which was performed by the groom’s brother) on top of a mountain, they then snowboarded down to their reception.
