Unbelievable pictures have been captured today off the coast of Sydney as a huge and pretty terrifying looking shelf cloud has formed off the coast of Bondi Beach.
Tourists and residents alike have taken to social media to share pictures of the sight, dubbing it a ‘cloud tsunami’.
The cloud formation caused weather forecasters to warn of hailstones, rainfall and strong winds and they have stated that the phenomenon has been caused by moist air mixing with cooler winds.
