PICTURE: This Photograph Of The Meteor Shower Over Kildare Is Absolutely Stunning

Irish eyes were focused firmly on the skies this week as people tried to catch a glimpse of the Perseids meteor shower.

One photographer in Co. Kildare though captured the moment perfectly and with absolutely stunning results.

Taken by Patrick Thomas Photography, the snap captures the stunning sight at Carton House in Co. Kildare at the Tyrconnell Tower.
