As we often say… Only in Ireland.
It was all systems go for a hurling clash in Co. Meath on Friday evening, but things didn’t really go according to plan for supporters.
Kilmessan and Boardsmill were going head to head in the club game, but things were pretty confusing for fans as local journalist Fergal Lynch pointed out.

The teams, who both wear blue and white kits, each lined out as normal and though one strip is a lighter shade of blue than the other, it was on the scoreboard where things got the most confusing.

Just in case you’re wondering… Boardsmill won 3-11 to 2-12.
