Poor Pat would probably be gutted if he ever saw this, but we imagine Old Mr. Brennan would get a great laugh out of it.

It’s probably not quite at the level of tea wars (Lyons vs Barry’s – bring home the wrong one on pain of death), but Irish households are somewhat particular about their sliced pan of choice too, it seems. 

This note, shared on Reddit under the heading  ‘We’re a Brennans family’ seems to sum it up perfectly, but we can’t imagine what Pat could have done to upset the writer so very much.

Perhaps they’re just not a fan of this catchy tune. Which seems near impossible, really.
