PICTURE: The Most Disgusting Bank Note You’re Ever Likely To See

We’ve long been warned that our way of paying for goods and services isn’t the most hygienic.

God only knows how many hands your coppers and crumpled fivers have passed through, and where those hands were before the touched that money.

It’s usually best not to think about it, but sometimes it just can’t be avoided.

Such was the case with the poor girl who was handed this bank note in her change.

Written on the back of her five euro note was a friendly note that read: ‘I hav crabs the size of lobsters and I rubbed myself all over with dis note’ [SIC]. The note came complete with not one but two smiley faces. What a keeper. We’d be out of there faster than you could say ‘keep the change’…
