It might just take the title of the most waterlogged pitch in Ireland.
There’s been some pretty crazy weather these last few days, and it seems like the west coast certainly got the brunt of it as one picture from Galway showed this week.
With a number of sporting events affected by the weather at the weekend, Walter Holleran shared a snap of what was going on at Clonbur GAA grounds, and unless the teams were going to have a swimming competition, there was certainly no football going to be played on that pitch.

We had to look at this twice to figure out that the water actually shouldn’t be there at all, and that it was in fact a picture of a football pitch.
