Given the day that was in it yesterday, we reckon that there may have been more than one proposal but none quite like this one that was spotted in the Launceston Examiner.
The gentleman in question took an ad out in the paper to ask his girlfriend a very important and timely question, except it might not have been the one she was expecting.
We would like to take this moment to salute this man’s sense of humour. We hope Jodie enjoyed this as much as we did.
