PICTURE: Dublin Zoo Welcomes Another New Arrival

This little guy is too cute!

Dublin Zoo are welcoming one of their most exciting arrivals of this year, a male southern white rhinoceros calf. The little guy, who is yet to be named, was born on Friday 26th of April to mother Ashanti.

The white rhinoceros is endangered with an estimated 20,000 of the species known to exist in the world, the majority of which are in South Africa.

Dublin Zoo are inviting children to pick a name for their new arrival by listening in to Hector on 2fm on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th of May and entering a draw. The winner is promised an exciting prize.

We’re looking forward to meeting the new guy…
