Be safe, be seen.
Winter is officially here as anyone who walks outside the door of their house will be able to tell you, and with it comes darker mornings and evenings.
As a result, heading to work on a grey Thursday morning before 8.30am can feel pretty gloomy with the streets still shrouded in darkness.
It was a bright start to the day for one cyclist in Dublin this morning though, as she was gifted with an early-morning present by Dublin City Council workers.
Martyn Rosney spotted the exchange on the streets of Dublin this morning, stating that crew from the Council gave the cyclist the high-vis jacket off their backs to help her get to her destination safely.

While we’re not entirely sure what’s going on in the snap, either way, it looks like they were being pretty sound.
