7,000 runners took to the streets of Dublin last night for the Virgin Media Night Run

Brought to you by Virgin Media Ireland What an incredible event. There were spectacular scenes around the capital last night with more than 7,000 runners taking to the streets for the 10K Virgin Media Night Run.

It all kicked off 9.30pm outside the Custom House, with an electric atmosphere along the route, which passed over the Samuel Beckett and Memorial bridges, past the 3 Arena, The Convention Centre, before finishing on North Wall Quay.

The good news is that Team Her absolutely wiped the floor with Team JOE. Our awesome team (pictured below) finished the race an average of two minutes faster than the boys. Better luck next year, JOEs. Virgin Media partnered with the Simon Community to host the event, and over €15,000 has already been raised for the homeless charity.
