Most of the time, you don’t realise it’s gone until you go looking for the missing item that you then realise you need to chase down.
Unless you’re Mary McCarthy – and then you might actually need help tracing the person before your lost property.
The Waterford woman seems to have loaned out a collection of three photograph albums.
Sent into our brothers over at JOE.ie, Mary McCarthy decided to take out a classified ad in her local paper, searching for the trusted party to step forward with the missing items.
The ad is addressed to ‘Someone Out There’ and continues:
We’ve heard of prayers to St.Anthony and retracing our steps, but this is pretty much our favourite classified ad of all time.
Just a shame Mary doesn’t have a photographic memory to recall the face…
