Rayment was inspired by the HMS Alliance which is the only surviving Word War 2 ocean-going British submarine and thus, the HMS Courgette was born!
Rayment is volunteer at the Submarine Museum.
“HMS Courgette is a vegetable class submarine. Her patrol success as detailed on the Jolly Roger flag shows 3 Attack Carrots, 11 Merchant Peas and 1 Anti Submarine Tomato” he said.
