PHOTO: Picture Emerges Of Two-Headed Pig Born In China

A local vet said his chances of survival are slim.

A photo has emerged of a two-headed pig born in a village in China.

The animal was photographed after it was born in Jiujiang, in east China’s Jiangxi province, Sky News report.

A local vet said the creature was suffering from a rare deformity and would find it very difficult to survive, but its owners have reportedly agreed not to slaughter it.

He’s not the first animal to be born with two heads, the rare condition is called polycephaly.

In 2009, a snake with two heads was found in a drawer full of rubbish in the States and a cat was born with the same condition in Australia the year before that.
