18th Nov 2017

People are trying describe 2017 in four words and they’re not half wrong

It is already November, which means 2017 is almost over.

For a lot of people, that will come as a relief. It’s been an often depressing twelve months, that has subjected us to multiple terror attacks, mass shootings, beloved celebrities being revealed as monsters and Donald Trump’s obsession with making World War III a real possibility.

Still, on Twitter, people are trying to sum up the year in just four words  – using the hashtag  #2017in4words, unsurprisingly.

Some of them are bleak.

Some, however, are positive in the face o0f adversity.

And some are more flippant.
