That’s some change from Mayo to Galway.
Ok, there are two weather warnings that are currently in place around Ireland, but things probably aren’t as bad on the west coast as what tonight’s TV weather report has made them out to be.
We love a good weather update on the TV because it’s an unexpected opportunity for some impromptu lunacy to occur and let’s be honest, as a country that’s predominantly being soaked by the rain, Irish people are obsessed with the weather.
As things currently are, it’s 2° in Mayo and 3° in both Clare and Galway. Trust us, despite these grim weather updates below, the west coast of Ireland hasn’t suddenly turned into Siberia.
WARNING: anyone travelling from Mayo to Galway tonight, be prepared for a fucking massive dip in the temperature once you cross the border. pic.twitter.com/mcROXJ4Zin

A Her reader sent us the below, and in the interests of those living on the west coast, it’s not this bad!
