Hahahaha.
If you had a look on Twitter last night, you might have spotted how people were losing their heads over the utility room on Room to Improve.
Kelly and Dessie featured on last night’s programme and Kelly had a very specific task for architect Dermot Bannon, a decent utility room.
Now, Kelly really really REALLY wanted this utility room, so much so that she was thinking of sacrificing a bedroom in order to have the utility room of dreams.
Imagine sacrificing a fourth bedroom to have a bigger utility room?! ? #roomtoimprove

Thankfully, it didn’t come to that.
Of course, viewers couldn’t stop chatting about said utility room, with some seeing the benefit of it and others thinking Kelly was bonkers to go to such extremes.
Here are some of the gas tweets sent about ‘utility room gate’. Side note, but Kelly’s ironing rail is an ingenious idea.
Major utility room envy:
As I currently have none I’m quite jealous of the utility room in #roomtoimprove. Complete with ironing rail. #nickingthatidea

Some indignation at Dermot’s dismissal of the utility room.
Dermot says nobody dreams of a utility room. Pfft. I’ve been dreaming of a walk-in airing cupboard for 8 years. #roomtoimprove

Bannon is such a snear about the utility room but it’s one of best things I’ve seen on #roomtoimprove she is also right on the good coats

Others weren’t too impressed with the overall effect.
Despite all the talk about the utility room, it wasn’t that big in the end! Great job on the house though. #roomtoimprove
