A Hot Water Bottle
If you haven’t owned one since you stayed over at your granny’s house aged eight, you’re missing out. This simple invention is the bee’s knees when it comes to tackling cramps, and when you’re that sensitive and emotional… it’s nice to have a warm hug.
Essential Supplies
This should go without saying, but it’s good to remember to stock up in advance – no one wants to have to make that trip to the shops for the necessary items. If you’re constantly on the verge of tears, you need to set those tears loose. Curl up on the couch with the aforementioned chocolate and hot water bottle, and escape to a world of inspirational films, which will completely justify your wet face. Cry and cry again.

It’s here, soon it will be gone, soon it will come again. We’re not about to burst into a rousing rendition of The Circle of Life here, but remember time heals all wounds and/or PMS symptoms. Stay strong sister. Stay strong.
