Tut, tut, tut. Talk about making it on to the ‘naughty’ list.
A Santa Steam Train caused travel havoc in Dublin today, after DART services were delayed for over an hour and a half following a mechanical failure on the festive train.
The train originally stalled between Greystones and Bray, and then stopped for 90 minutes at Dalkey, causing the stoppage of southbound DARTs, which had a huge knock-on effect on other services.
The train later got going again, but used diesel not steam to finish its journey and order was restored in the capital once more.
Now Santa, about this steam train of yours… Apologies for disruption, DART services on move and delays easing pic.twitter.com/U8xB55WbsP
