The car had been travelling North on the boulevard before it mounted the pavement and struck pedestrians in front of the Paris Hotel & Casino, and continued driving.
The car, which is not registered to Nevada, was later found at a hotel after continuing up the Flamingo road.
According to the site, Nevada governor Brian Sandoval extended his "deepest sympathies to all who are affected by this shocking and tragic event."
