“Odds” One Out? X Factor Star Is Bookies Favourite for the Chop This Weekend

Paul Akister is the bookies’ early favourite to be from The X Factor this weekend.

Following last week’s show, where head honcho Simon Cowell claimed Paul an attitude problem and behind-the-scenes issues with mentor Mel B came to light, Paul now finds himself as the most likely singer to be axed from next weekend’s show at odds of 5/2.

It’s bad news for the groups too, as Only The Young are rated next in the betting at 11/4 and sing-off survivors Stereo Kicks aren’t far behind on 3/1.

On the other end of the scale, Andrea looks to be running away with the competition and his odds to win have been slashed to 6/4.
