Since the Paris attacks on Friday night, there has been an influx of warmth and support for those affected by terrorism.
Unfortunately, Islamophobia is very real, and can impact the lives of people as innocent as those who were victims of an attack.
Yesterday we shared the story of a New Yorker who experienced the saddest 25 minutes of his life with a human being who was heartbroken to feel like the world was turning on him because of his Muslim faith.
Now Muslims are starting their own social media campaign #NotInMyName to raise awareness of their own faith – and distance themselves from the actions of people hiding behind religion while committing acts of terrorism.
