Ladies, let’s talk turn-offs. You know, those finicky little things that immediately throw a wet blanket over your desire. Here in the Her.ie office ours include bad breath, dirty nails and hairy noses. But what’s the number one turn-off for us women folk?
Believe it or not it’s actually feet. Yes, those weird looking yokes that are attached to the bottom of your legs.
According to a new survey, we don’t really like feet. It doesn’t matter whether they’re our own or our man’s, feet just don’t do it for the vast majority of us.
In fact, two fifths of women who were questioned, said that the feet were the least attractive part of a man’s body. In what we can only assume is direct retaliation, a third of men said that feet are the ugliest part of a woman’s body.
However the survey revealed that when it comes to tootsies, we also have an unflattering opinion of our own feet. Two-thirds of women said they were embarrassed by the state of their feet, while one in five were so ashamed of theirs that they actually go out of their way to avoid being barefoot.
The survey found that we’re not even fans of our own feet, nevermind our man’s
The survey, which was conducted by foot care brand Footner, found that while most of us tend to feel more attractive when we have pampered feet, we wouldn’t consider getting rid of our beloved heels in order to improve the appearance of what lies beneath our socks.
A third of women openly admitted to wearing painful shoes for the sake of looking good (been there, done that, got the blister to prove it, eh ladies?).
So, we ask you, in all seriousness: do your partner’s feet freak you out?
