A café that will provide much more than just a hot beverage. 

Night Café, a new establishment to support those without a home, will open its doors for the first time tonight.

At 11pm the café, which will operate seven nights a week on Merchants Quay, Dublin 8, will begin its service to those sleeping rough in the capital who cannot or will not access emergency homeless accommodation.

Hot beverages and a light meal will be available between the hours of 11pm and 7.30am.

The café will provide information and advice, showers/clothing, brief interventions on addiction and mental health, and referals to support services for accommodation, treatment, health, social services.

The Night Café is state funded through the Dublin local authority funding arrangements and will be managed and operated by Merchants Quay Ireland.
