Nifty with a drill? RTÉ is looking for DIY enthusiasts to compete for €10,000

RTÉ is on the hunt for people with a DIY flair to take part in a brand new competition show. The callout is open to everyone whether you consider yourself an expert with a staple gun or feel you've an artistic eye for any project. The show will see contestants complete DIY challenges over the course of 10 days, from simple tasks to ones that'll test your skills as you battle it out to walk home with a sweet €10,000 cash prize. Speaking about the show, host and comedian, PJ Gallagher said:

“I can wire a plug but generally I’ve always had ornamental hands and only dream of one day making something useful… like a breadboard. “I’m really looking forward to meeting my fellow DIY fans around the country and even more so I’m hoping to see some really original projects… and even some epic fails! “A friend of mine is building a hen house in the shape of the GPO, I’d love to see something cool like that win.”
