Ever wanted to explore the mind of the opposite sex? Well you might not have to because a new survey shows exactly what men think about sex and relationships.

According to The Huffington Post the research, which will be fully published in the book WTF Are Men Thinking?, shows that men like a woman who can take charge.

And they’re not just talking about in the bedroom. Findings show that as well as the two thirds of men who like a women to take charge in that department, over 80 per cent of men like women who go against tradition and ask them out.

Men like women who take charge when asking them out on a date.

But going back to the juicy stuff! Apparently only around 40 per cent of the 250,000 men asked admitted that they are occasionally not in the mood for sex. And this is because of work or family issues so don’t be too concerned if he just rolls over and falls asleep.

When they are getting down to the business, most men tend to be monogamous (how nice of them) and believe that foreplay is just as important as the deed itself.

On a more intellectual level, the study showed that 90 per cent of men to at least try to tune into what their other half is saying. We suppose it is the effort that counts.

As with the rules of courtship, it was also found that the majority of men are happy for the female to be the main breadwinner.

Men apparently like women who take charge personally and professionally.

Well we’re certainly glad to see that the majority of the male population is living in the 21st century, aren’t you?
