It’s been a busy week for Apple, with the official launch of streaming service Apple Music and a leaked release date for the new iPhone.
There’s also a new operating system on the horizon and from what we’re hearing, iOS9 is going to have some very nifty features.
As well as immediately bringing up the ‘Now Playing’ screen when you insert your headphones and suggesting times that you should leave to ensure you’re not late for an event, it is believed to have a special feature to tackle all those annoying calls from unknown numbers.
It seems the days of having to screen the call and hope they leave the voicemail are over as iOS9 will scan through your emails and messages to see if it can find a number similar to the one that the call is coming from and will give you a suggestion as to who it might be.
If you’re a bit lazy about updating your contacts or have a few people on your ‘do not answer’ list, this could be a godsend!
iOS9 is due for release later this year.
H/T to JOE.ie for this one!
