The mother of viral bullying victim Keaton Jones has been accused of racism.
Kimberley Jones was accused of racist behaviour this week when images of her posing alongside a Confederate flag emerged online.
The images also appeared to include racial insensitive comments.
This comes after Jones shared a video of her visibly upset son detailing the bullying he was enduring in school.
The Tennessee boy said that he had had milk and food thrown over him and that people had made fun of the way he looks.
This is Keaton Jones, he lives in Knoxville and he has a little something to say about bullying.https://t.co/coyQxFp33V

“Why do they bully?” he asked.
“People that are different don’t need to be criticized about it. It’s not their fault. If you are made fun of, just don’t let it bother you.”
He’d had milk and other foods thrown over him by bullies at school, he continued.
“They make fun of my nose. They call me ugly. They say I have no friends.”
The video of Keaton went viral, amassing the support of celebrities like Chris Evans, Mark Ruffolo, Mille Bobby Brown, and more.
Yesterday, Twitter user Tariq Nasheed shared images of Mrs Jones posing with the Confederate flag. The Confederacy supported the continuation of slavery during the US civil war.
That viral video of #KeatonJones talking about being bullied is heartbreaking, and I feel sympathetic towards that child.
But his mom, Kimberly on the other hand, is a suspected racist who makes very problematic posts bullying Black protesters #TheIrony pic.twitter.com/NUhidunP8z— Tariq Nasheed 🇺🇸 (@tariqnasheed) December 11, 2017
The alleged Facebook post addresses “butt hurt Americans” and tells them to stop complaining about “metaphorical, emotional, financial, or historical blood & brokenness.”
“If you aren’t bleeding, no bones are sticking out & you can breathe, STOP crying,” it reads.
One of the photos was also allegedly shared on Keaton’s sister’s Twitter account. It has since been deleted.
Following this, a series of online fundraisers were set up under Mrs Jones’ name.
They claimed to be raising money for Keaton, however, Keaton’s sister Lakyn has said that the accounts do not belong to her mother and that the family aren’t “looking for any money.”

The GoFundMe accounts have since been put on hold for verification purposes. One of them had already received almost $60,000 in donations.
Mrs Jones has set her Facebook page to private.
