According to the CSO, there are three baby names proving incredibly popular with parents of baby boys in Dublin.

The top three names for boys in Dublin in 2023 were Jack, James, and Noah.
The meaning behind these beautiful names are one of the reasons they’re so beloved.
Jack
The name Jack is of English origin and means ‘God is gracious’.
James
The name James is of Hebrew origin. The charming moniker means ‘gift from God.’
Noah
This beautiful name is also of Hebrew origin. It means both ‘rest’ and ‘motion’.
