Dublin Zoo has revealed that they have not one but two new arrivals in their midst!
The two white crowned mangabeys, one male and one female, were apparently born just a fortnight apart.
The monkeys arrived within a few weeks of each other.
Jomoro (male) and Awiane (female) share a father, Danzo, but were born to different mothers, Malull and Monifa.
Helen Clarke-Bennet, team leader of the African Plains, said: “We’re delighted with the arrival of two mangabeys which brings the Dublin Zoo troop of these elegant monkeys up to eight."
The staff are celebrating the new additions.
She added: “Jomoro and Awiane are thriving and get on very well as brother and sister. It’s a joy to watch them being playful together.”
Anybody up for a trip to the zoo?
