Model Who Can Wolf Down 12 Donuts In 96 Seconds Reveals Her Competitive Eating Secrets

To look at her, you wouldn't imagine model Nela Zisser could eat 12 doughnuts in 96 seconds. However, the 23-year-old is a devoted competitive eater and can eat up to 22 Big Macs in an hour and six burritos in 12 minutes. Speaking on The Morning Show in Australia, the New Zealand stunner revealed some of her pre-competition rituals, and they're not what you might expect.

While we would have imagined that she would starve herself in the run up the competition in order to leave room, the truth is the opposite. She revealed: "Basically you just need to eat enough the day before to kind of get your stomach stretched, and then you just go into it with a good technique and hope you win. "You just have to zone out a little bit and just try to eat it as quickly as possible so you just put yourself into a kind of zone where you’re trying to get it down as fast as you can."

Seems unhealthy, but the former Miss Earth is unphased:

"In one of our labs we tested our blood pressure and our lung capacity, and I actually had the best one in the class so I think I’m okay."

Ms Zisser is off to the Houston and Texas in the United States this year to compete against some of the biggest competitive eaters in the world.
