Milan, MasterChef and a Movie: The Best of Tonight’s TV

From a football match to a real-life superhero, there’s plenty to watch on the television tonight. Live UEFA Champions League – TV3 (7.30pm) Celtic will be hoping for a win against AC Milan having performed poorly so far in the group stage of the competition. Also includes highlights of Arsenal vs Marseille and FC Basel vs Chelsea. MasterChef: The Professionals – BBC One (8.00pm) Michel Roux Junior challenges four of the eight chefs from yesterday’s heat to make his mackerel dish but there are only three places in the next round. Homeland – Channel  4 (9.00pm) Carrie and Brody reunite but the situation turns out to be more difficult than either of them ever imagined. Drama with Claire Danes and Damian Lewis. Kick-Ass – Film4 (9.00pm) A teenager decides to become a real-life superhero but ends up mixed up with gangsters. Action comedy starring Aaron Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz. Betrayal – RTÉ Two (10.00pm) This week Jack makes an effort at home, Rodney makes an important discovery and Drew is desperate to trap Karsten.
