Miss Ireland 2013 was crowned last night in Dublin’s Ballsbridge Hotel.
The judge chose Miss Tipperary, Aoife Walsh for the honour.
Twenty-three-year-old Aoife, who is from Clonmel, will now go on to represent Ireland at Miss World.
This year’s Miss World pageant will take place in Indonesia in September.
The Miss World title has only ever been won once by an Irish entrant, Rosanna Davison in 2003.
