Huseyin Yurtsevern, a dentist who lives in Istanbul, took to the city's streets this week to help care for cats and dogs without owners.
He says that he was inspired to help by a video he saw online featuring dogs living on the streets of his city.

He and his gang have also been leaving his contact details with the blankets so that local residents can return them to him should they need to be washed, reports The Daily Mail.
