East 17’s festive classic ‘Stay Another Day’ has been covered several times, (most recently for our Sunday Sessions Christmas special by the brilliant Dublin duo Darling), however this next rendition may be the most Irish yet.
Fran from RTÉ’s Love/Hate, Michael Noonan, Luke Ming Flanagan and GAA legends Micheal O’Muircheartaigh, Joe Brolly and Brian Cody gather together in matching parkas for this special cover… sort of.
We have impersonator Aidan Tierney to thank for this brilliant mash-up.
Noonan wonders “won’t you pay just one more day” as Fran begs Nidgey not to leave him “with a bone like this”.
