People who lose their virginity after turning twenty are more likely to enjoy happier sexual relationships in the future, a new study has revealed.

According to The Irish Sun, people who wait until they are mature before hopping into bed have better sex than the rest of us in the long term.

They are also less likely to marry and may have fewer romantic relationships than the rest of us.

Psychologists tested 1,659 pairs of same sex siblings and followed their sexual experiences from the age of 16 to 29.

They found that those who had sex at a later stage in their youth were more likely to come from a privileged and educated background.

However, the study, which was conducted in the University of Texas, revealed that those who lost their virginity at an earlier age showed lower levels of delinquency.
